So, what happened 2 weeks ago was that, on the very first day of classes, my 7-year-old laptop "Bruce All-Mighty" kicked the bucket. You guys have NO IDEA how bad a week that was for me. If it had happened on a Tuesday it would have been ok, but no, it had to happen on the VERY FIRST DAY of classes. The Universe kicked me in the ass, that's what it did.
Luckily, my family kicked right back and got me...THIS:
I would like to introduce you to KAAAAHN. Yes, not only do I name all my important electronics (and my favorite plants, for that matter...), but I name them after characters. My car is "Sparhawk" from D. Edding's Ellenium series (I hope I spelled that right. Too lazy to go to the bookshelf). My graphics tablet it Leonidas from yes, you guessed it, 300! Kahn, that genetically-engineered super-human with aspirations of world domination from Star Trek the series and Star Trek II, Wrath of Kahn, yes, that is my new system. AND IT KICKS SO MUCH ASS. Specs here.
But in other news! Last week was the first week of What it Takes updates! What it Takes is my newest comic starring Colbey, a grumpy martial artist struggling in a post-apocalyptic world to find a man named Peter Wolfe. It updates on Wednesday/Friday, so uh, this site will be updating EVERY DAY this week except for Tuesday. Be sure to check back, eh?
Finally, sneaking this in at the end, I will be taking two weeks off from The War of Winds starting February 1! These last two weeks without a working computer and screwing up in the lab (never thought I'd regret NOT taking the 5-hour lab portion of Biochem *shudders*) and a horrible, horrible crick in my neck that's been keeping me from sleeping....I NEED A VACATION. Since each War of Winds page takes 15+ hours, I'm taking a break from that. What it Takes will update normally. Easy pages in comparison.
You may submit your complaints to Colbey, who will punch you in the face.
