Chapter 9 - Still Alive - Page 36

July 6, 2011

And that's the final page of Chapter 9 Part I! The title page for part II starts on Monday. Vote because you are awesome, even though there's no new vote incentive.

Anyone remember what's bad about the sun setting?

Ugh my art has been sucking hairy goat balls lately. No, no, I'm not fishing for compliments; the art has seriously been horrible. I'm stressed out, not getting enough sleep, never enough time to do the pages justice, but I think we'd all agree you'd rather haves pages go up on time even if means skimping on the size or details this comic used to have. At least, I hope we all agree. 'Cause if you don't, not much I can do about it other than tell you to STFU and GTFO. Oh, there are days I wish that internal censor I have would just frack off. See? *sigh*

19 more days until the release of the next Dresden Files book. Just finished Changes today. Refreshed myself. Screamed at the end. Ok, squealed in outrage. Did that first time too. Flipped the page, had a WTF moment, and then went "RRAAAHHHH!!!"

In other news, Chapter 9 part II is a bit of a doozy. Looking forward to it. Mostly so I can tell off all those people who complained about the first 70 pages of this story. If that gives you any hint where things are going next.

Videblog

I refuse to use the word "vlog."

RAFFLE

Only 17 14 more fans to go until someone wins a Not Alone book with original drawing! Not Alone is an origin story of characters that appear in chapter 10! I have very few copies left, and doubt I will be printing more soon. There will be a drawing for the book when we reach 100 fans.

SpiderForest Admissions

SpiderForest, that wonderful network/host/collective that hosts all my comic works, is once again accepting applications for new members up until July 24. SF offers free hosting, advertising through the overhead banner on every SF site, as well as being distinguished from the rest of the 10's of thousands of webcomics. We're a collective that's serious about the work we put out. All current SF members read and vote on your application. Go here for more info. Those of you readers who may be hosted on Drunkduck and are as pissed off about what they just did (as you should be. Limiting page sizes?! WTF), you may want to consider this option pretty seriously. I started in webcomics over 7 years ago, and tried out Comic Genesis, Drunkduck, Smack Jeeves and Comic Dish before settling on SF. I have not a single ounce of regret.
