Hey all! I hope fellow Americans had a nice Thanksgiving and the rest of you just had a great few days.
I'm back today with a new page! I also took the time to experiment a bit with the art on this page. I'm still not sure what to think of it myself. For a long while I've trying to find way to improve my inking WITHOUT having to spend more time on it. More inking means less coloring. But I really love coloring, so I think I will reserve the heavy inks for dark scenes. That seems to be the consensus from posters in the forum as well.
As for what's going on in this page, I'm hoping that everyone gets the Weapons Master is speaking a different language, and I'm just not writing it out. Make sure you pay attention to the shadow in the backgrounds! It was soooooo long ago, but do you remember the shadows?
I've been noticing a lot of links to The War of Winds lately, and I'd like to thank readers for that! The BEST source of new readers is by word-of-mouth on forums and new posts. By all means, continue linking! I really appreciate it. Voting is really good too since it gets a lot of exposure on TWC. And of course, if you're a fan of The War of Winds/What it Takes on Facebook, sharing update posts or retweeting on Twitter is awesome too.
I'd also like to say that I've re-opened registration on the forum. If you'd been wanting to register but couldn't, now is your chance! Just FYI, there are SECRET forums on there which are unlocked with post counts. These forums contain lots and lots of background details.
Finally, I moved some fan art out of the archives to the page, so comments are off. No biggie.
That's all, huge exam this friday to prepare for. If you want more to read, check out my other comic What it Takes (which is having a special on books for sale)!
