Chapter 9 - Still Alive 2 - 1
July 18, 2011
Yes, this is still the same comic. War of Winds. Same comic. New chapter. And what? You've never missed the bus before?
Go back a page if you missed the random, spontaneous update I added last minute, just to try and connect things better for those of you have that severe WTF moment I've been warning you about.
Vote because you are awesome, even though there's no new vote incentive.
Check out my friend's Kickstarter campaign! I'm helping out by offering my commission services to backers of a certain amount. If you want a drawing from me, and want to support a cool
project, check it out!
The Continuing Bill Saga
I'm on a scholarship right now as part of my program,
and I really didn't expect the Feds to take such a large chomp out of my earnings. To help make up the difference, I'm offering a special and fun commission deal: a personalized 5x5" inked drawing on Bristol board, for
$5, shipped to you, signed and autographed. Reserve yours below. Two random ones are up for grabs, featuring characters from What it Takes, my other comic. They are Tough Love, and Kickassery,
seen here on my DevART
Tips are of course, appreciated as well. There's a message box when you donate, write what you want. No nekkids! I will do smexy however.
That's internet lingo for keep the clothes on, everything else is pretty much go. If you just want to tip and don't want a drawing, don't add a message (or say "tip" or something.)
6 more days until the release of the next Dresden Files book. I have had to quell the urge to drop everything and make a fan comic.

TWO more fans to go until someone wins a Not Alone book with original drawing! Not Alone
is an origin story of characters that appear in chapter 10!
I have very few copies left, and doubt I will be printing more soon. There will be a drawing for the book when we reach 100 fans
. Someone is getting something free dammit.
SpiderForest, that wonderful network/host/collective that hosts all my comic works, is once again accepting applications for new members up until July 24. SF offers free hosting, advertising through the overhead banner on every SF
site, as well as being distinguished from the rest of the 10's of thousands of webcomics. We're a collective that's serious about the work we put out. All current SF members read and vote on your application. Go here for more info.
Those of you readers who may be hosted on Drunkduck and are as pissed off about what they just did (as you should be. Limiting page sizes?! WTF), you may want to consider this option pretty seriously. I started in webcomics over 7
years ago, and tried out Comic Genesis, Drunkduck, Smack Jeeves and Comic Dish before settling on SF. I have not a single ounce of regret.
