Convention Weekend

April 12, 2010

EDIT: see? Inks are up! I AM working on it. :)

I was at UBcon all weekend, so I had NO time to work on a comic. My external HD also got borked up, so I lost the original sketch and had to redraw it. I am hopeful to have the comic up later this week, so keep checking back.

In the meantime, check out these comics I am getting horrible at linking!

Planes of Eldlor

This wonderful new addition to SF this past December is an awesome comic by Nightlyre and Leezard! A Rift has opened between the earth realm and the demon realm, and the dragons need help to fix it. Totally awesome art, writing and follow through. A must-read for any fantasy fan!

Fuzznuts

This strip is a hilarious piece of comicdom, by Chris Wall and co-writer, DJ. Two squirrels have diabolical adventures, including zombies, hobos and yes, THE DEVIL. Go and read!

Interim II page 4

March 27, 2010

It's a bit late in coming, but it's here! I took my gleeful time coloring this since it's the first bit of my own stuff I've been able to work on since my last update. It took me forever since I'm now rusty, but still felt wonderful.

And, for those of you who were quite confused by this change in setting, we have a NAME. As for what is going on, well, for that you'll have to wait for the next page. I'm going to try really hard to keep up SOME sort of schedule, but I really can't promise anything. Still 2 more exams, 2 more papers, and one term paper to complete. Guh. *shudders*

More importantly, I'm broke! But I'm offering $15 commissions. They're pretty high quality for the price, they just don't have the long back and forth process. That's really the only difference. Here are 3 done so far as examples. If you're interested, shoot me an email at warofwinds@gmail.com. There's a short waiting list.

And since I am so behind on linking fellow SF members, here are 2 of them for this week, saving two more for next week.

CETIYA

Cetiya is by Mitsukaiten, recently returned to the US from the Land of the Rising Sun! Her comic occurs half in an alternate reality Earth, and half in a virtual reality. VR is cool and you know it. A group called NAAMAST uses their mad VR skillz and high tech ADEPT equipment as part of a military organization. Check it out! Definitely blurs the line a bit between fantasy and sci-fi.

KINNARI

Kinnari is an adventure comic that takes place in India, drawn and written by Meenakshi! Some great action and humor, and a tale in an authentic setting quite unlike any other webcomic out there. I'm a big one for setting.
