Just a note, that the “create account” link is actually only to a wiki page telling you exactly what Drax said :) The wiki should be up again this weekend, though sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi there!
This is the pirate face on Comic Dish dot com. We heard of the problems and have a temporary work around.
The info is on the main page, but in case there’s any confusion; in order to make a comic account all you have to do is create an account in the forums. The system automatically generates a comic account for you as well. From there you can add new comics via the account button.

I’m sorry for the troubles and we hope to get things resolved soon.

Comicdish create account is still 404-ing and i cant seem to find a ‘contact’ anywhere.

Whaddaya mean you’ve never heard of it? I’ve been hosted there for nearly two years now and putting the name out whenever people ask about good hosts! :)

Welcome, Pirogoeth! I’m glad you found the articles enjoyable (at least, I hope you didn’t find reading them a chore or anything!). Hi KEZ,

I just must say, I came across your site early this morning and I’ve been reading absolutely EVERYTHING you’ve written, I really want to start my own webcomic, I know some VERY basic HTML and CSS but the thought of starting my own website has always been so daunting! Now that I know about Comic Dish I know how I’m going to start my webcomic!

Maybe one day if I get a big enough following I can make my own site but for now CD is the way to go!

Haha, yes, that is the right link! I admit, I was a little perturbed at the design too, but the first thing you have to do is make an account. Once you make an account, you can make a comic site there.

I had totally forgotten about that bit of confusion. I’ll edit that up there tomorrow after sleepy time.

OK, I’m confused. I haven’t been to CD in a long time, but I’m seeing nothing like you describe. Instead of a hosting service, there is a really lame home page with a guy in a pirate hat spouting off about unrelated topics.

Do I have the right link? I checked it three times.

If it is, it is one of the most disorganized web sites I’ve ever seen. I followed every possible link, looking for hosting stuff, and found only bafflingly named items in no sort of order.

Help me out, Sister.
