I’m starting this feature for multiple reasons. First and most importantly, to write articles about how to make a modest amount of money with one’s webcomic. Some tricks are very simple, and if you make a webcomic, you could be making hundreds or even thousands a year on a hobby that “traditionally” makes negative amount of dollars. Before I can get to how to make money, I have to start with how to present your webcomic site first, however!

Second, I will be writing short articles on tricks I use when writing novels or short stories, about characterization through action and dialogue, minimalist and maximalist approaches, choosing names, writing “magic,” portrayal of the antagonist, etc.

Third, I will be posting excerpts here from the novel version of The War of Winds, as well as an illustrations that won’t be on the comic site.
